In the online store, searches can be performed in several ways. The simplest search can be accessed directly in the search bar.
Search without prefix
If a search is performed without a prefix, the first and one of the following search terms must be included in the result entry for the search to be successful. If more than two search terms are specified, this is interpreted as "AND" between the first two terms and "OR" between the subsequent ones. In other words, the first word and at least one of the following must be present in the search result.
Examples:
- SANTA Shows entries containing the word santa.
- SANTA RED Shows entries containing the words santa or red.
Search with quotation marks
Searches for results with the exact specified word order.
Example:
- "RED SANTA" The result entries must contain the phrase "red santa" in the given order.
Search with plus sign (+)
The specified word or phrase must be included among the results. The plus sign can be seen as standing for "AND".
Examples:
- +SANTA Result entries must contain the word santa.
- +"RED SANTA" Result entries must contain the phrase "red santa" in the given order.
Search with minus sign (-)
The specified word or phrase must not be included among the results. The minus sign can be seen as standing for "NOT".
Examples:
- -SANTA Result entries must not contain the word santa.
- -"RED SANTA" Result entries must not contain the phrase "red santa" in the given order.
Search with wildcards (?, *)
? replaces a single character.
* replaces a sequence of characters.
Examples:
- R?D Matches e.g. red, rod.
- R*D Matches e.g. red, road, refined, rewarded.
Search with uppercase and lowercase letters
It does not matter whether uppercase or lowercase letters are used in the search.
